The first phase of placements had a really great run with students bagging more than 1300 offers (including PPOs). Remarkably, this was the first time that the number of offers crossed 1000 within just Day 5 of the placements. The top recruiters of Phase 1, which began on December 1, were Honeywell (34), EXL Services (25), Microsoft (24), Barclays (20), Accenture Japan (19), Fractal Analytics(19), etc. The majority of the jobs offered by the companies were in software development and data science profiles.
The institute average CTC stood at around 17.7 lacs. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering stood out again in the CTC analysis with an average of around 28 Lacs with most of the other departments’ average falling in the 10-20 lacs bracket.
